Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you visit our website or interact with our services.

◆ Effective: 1 January 2026 ◆ Last updated: 1 January 2026 ◆ Version: 1.0

1. Introduction

M/s Balaji Power & Infra Solutions ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit balajipowersolar.com, contact us, or use our solar services — and how we use, store and protect that information.

By using our website or services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways:

Information you provide

  • Contact details — name, phone number, email address and location when you fill out our contact or quote forms.
  • Property details — property type, city, approximate electricity usage and any information you share during consultations.
  • Documentation data — information you share for net metering, subsidy or DISCOM approvals (only when you engage us for those services).

Information collected automatically

  • Device & browser info — browser type, operating system, screen size, and referring URL.
  • Usage data — pages visited, time on site, clicks and general navigation patterns.
  • IP address — used for security, analytics and approximate location.

Information from third parties

  • Analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics) that help us understand site usage.
  • Advertising or referral partners, where you've arrived via a campaign link.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request.
  • Prepare quotations, site assessments and system recommendations.
  • Coordinate documentation, net metering and subsidy applications.
  • Send you service updates, appointment confirmations and support messages.
  • Improve our website, services and customer experience.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We only use your data to deliver the services you've asked for, or to improve what we offer.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We may share limited information with:

  • Installation and service partners — who need site details to complete your project.
  • Manufacturers (including V-Guard) — for warranty registration and product support.
  • Government authorities & DISCOM — only when you've engaged us for documentation or subsidy support.
  • Payment processors & banks — for EMI, financing or invoicing purposes.
  • Legal authorities — if required by law or to protect our rights.

All third parties we share data with are required to handle it responsibly and only for the purpose it was shared.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working smoothly and to understand how visitors use it.

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function (navigation, preferences).
  • Analytics cookies — help us see which pages are most useful and where visitors drop off.
  • Preference cookies — remember settings like dismissed banners.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling them may affect how the site behaves.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure. These include:

  • Secure transmission (HTTPS) across our website.
  • Restricted access to personal data within our team.
  • Regular review of storage and handling practices.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
